US Vice President Harris’s visit to Vietnam is delayed for a couple of hours due to reports that someone in Hanoi may have been targeted by the Havana syndrome. This incident does not worry Hanoi, as it maintains a foreign policy of independence. Just before the visit, Vietnamese Prime Minister said “Vietnam does not align itself with one country against any other” in his meeting with the Ambassador of China, apparently more concerned about the new development in the US – Vietnam relationship.
